The Horizon Europe Horizontal Contact Point South-Eastern Poland at the Technology Transfer Centre of Cracow University of Technology — hereinafter referred to as HPK CTT PK — provides comprehensive, professional consultations and support services aimed at increasing the participation of researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs from the Małopolskie, Podkarpackie and Świętokrzyskie Voivodeships in calls and grants financed under the European Commission Framework Programmes, currently Horizon Europe.
Main tasks of HPK CTT PK and key consultation areas:
- general information on Horizon Europe: participation opportunities, formal rules for applying for calls and grants, and support in finding partners for international research projects;
- practical aspects of participation in EU Framework Programmes: details concerning proposal preparation, the application process, principles of proposal evaluation, project implementation and settlement, financial issues and reporting;
- legal support: project agreements, including Consortium Agreements and Grant Agreements, intellectual property protection in projects, patent databases, etc.;
- assistance in using the CORDIS website — the Community Research and Development Information Service, which provides information on European research and development activities and technology transfer.

Forms of activity of HPK CTT PK:
- consultations, workshops, and on-site and online training sessions, including tailor-made training;
- information days and conferences devoted to selected aspects of Horizon Europe;
- information materials, brochures, leaflets and practical guides on selected issues related to European Commission grants.
HPK CTT PK, formerly the Regional Contact Point for EU Research Programmes — RPK Kraków — has operated continuously since 1999. Initially, it was one of the information points within the nationwide network of contact points during the 5th and 6th Framework Programmes. The activities of HPK CTT PK are financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR).
HPK CTT PK provides training and competent advice on EU Framework Programmes, drawing on its own human resources and the knowledge gained from previous Framework Programmes. The many years of experience of the HPK CTT PK team, supported by practical expertise and individual analysis of specific cases, make it possible to effectively support scientists and researchers in the region in obtaining EU funding for research activities and for the development or continuation of their professional careers.
